Long before I began helping others move from surviving toward thriving, I was trying to understand why years of meaningful healing and self-awareness could still leave me feeling stuck. My path to this work has been deeply personal, wonderfully winding, and rooted in my own lived experience.
I spent decades addressing my complex-trauma history, and that work was invaluable in preparing me to discover the body and nervous-system pieces I had been missing. Although I understood many of my patterns and where they came from, I was still cycling between collapse, feeling frozen and unable to move forward, and living with an almost constant sense of urgency. I now recognize how this prolonged nervous-system dysregulation contributed to the chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia symptoms I was experiencing and was eventually diagnosed with.
It wasn’t until I began including nervous-system, somatic, and parts work that my relationship with myself, my blocks, and my body began to change.
Instead of resisting my blocks or using joy and positivity to override them, I began investigating them as protective parts and listening with curiosity and compassion. Today, the scale has tipped from surviving toward thriving, including in my marriage, my body, and living a purpose-driven life.
This lived experience is at the heart of how I support others. I understand what it’s like to work hard, gain awareness, and still wonder why meaningful change feels just out of reach.
Creating Just 4 the FUN Uv It marked a significant turning point in my journey. As I stepped into entrepreneurship and made fun a priority, I began noticing the unexpected blocks and protective patterns that arose—for me and for others—when we gave ourselves permission to pursue joy, play, and what truly enlivened us. My curiosity about those blocks ultimately led me to become a coach and earn my Trauma-Informed Somatic Mastery Method coaching certification through Alyssa Nobriga’s Institute for Coaching Mastery.
I also hold a bachelor’s degree in theatre and a master’s degree in elementary education, with more than 15 years of experience as an elementary educator. My colorful path has included working as a Disney entertainer, professional actor, puppeteer, and clown—all experiences that helped shape the warm, creative, intuitive, and playful way I connect with others and design my events and 1:1 coaching experiences.
If you’ve worked hard to understand yourself and make significant changes but still feel stuck and confused, I want you to know: you are not broken.
Your blocks and patterns may be protective. Learning to work with them could open the door to living with more connection, purpose, passion, and authentic joy—and creating a life that feels more like YOU.
If you’re ready to explore what might be possible, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
